Considers New Service - Your Feedback Is Requested |
E-PageAds Inc.
is considering offering a new service to its visitors. We have received many
requests asking for advice on how to get higher rankings within the major
search engines. Clearly, this is not a one question - one answer problem
and involves a plethora of rebounding questions!
What we can do though, is provide new tips and tricks each week in our news
letter. This service would also incude the latest in the ever mind-boggling
weekly twists and turns of the major search engines. There are many programs
on the market that can offer submission services etc, but very few keep up
to date and indeed, not many people study the software in enough detail to
maximize their benefits from such complicated features. For many, at best
its confusing and at worst, completely overwhelming!

Labs Purchases Coherence Cube(TM) Patents From BP AMOCO
|
HOUSTON, Dec.
11 /PRNewswire/ -- Core Laboratories (NYSE: CLB) announced today that it
has purchased from BP AMOCO Corporation (BP) all rights in and title to BP's
family of patents relating to seismic coherency computations and methods.
Previously, Core, though its merger with Coherence Technology Company, had
been the exclusive worldwide licensee of the technology.
"We are very excited
about acquiring these patents," said Paddy Keenan, Vice President of Core
Lab. "Until now we have been limited to providing Coherence Cube(TM) processing
as a service through our Scott Pickford division. Now we will also have the
option of licensing the software on a standalone basis throughout the industry.
This should help us disseminate this powerful tool for detecting and imaging
faults and stratigraphy in 3-D and 4-D seismic data and, at the same time,
curtail the activities of those whom we believe are currently infringing
the patents' claims."
Chris Cottam, Vice
President of Reservoir Management for Core commented, "In Scott Pickford
we have benefited significantly from combining Coherence Cube(TM) technology
with our seismic attribute work, particularly with respect to the extraction
of rock properties from seismic data. Coherence Cube(TM) provides the perfect
interpretive framework for understanding the geological and geophysical setting
for such studies. The industry will now be able to enjoy similar rewards
through licensing of this powerful tool."
Core Laboratories
N.V. (http://www.corelab.com) is a leading provider of proprietary and patented
reservoir description, production enhancement and reservoir management services
used to optimize petroleum reservoir performance. The Company has over 70
offices in more than 50 countries and is located in every major oil-producing
province in the world. Coherence Cube(TM) is a

OIL CORP - Announces $692M Capital Program for 2001 |
Murphy Oil
Corporation announced a capital program of $692 million for 2001. This represents
an increase of 18% compared to projected capital expenditures in 2000.
Approximately
three-quarters of the capital budget will be allocated to upstream operations.

the Phase III expansion at Syncrude and for continuing development of Hibernia,
heavy oil and natural gas fields in western Canada and Block 16 in Ecuador.
Exploration expenditures are estimated to rise approximately 12% to $238
million.
In addition to
