Magazine Highlights Latest ROV Technology |
The latest
advances in ROV technology will be the focus of UnderWater Magazine's next
Marketplace feature. Whether your companys vehicle is work class or
observation class, all-electric or hydraulic, this is the chance to tell
the industry about it. Send approximately 500 words on your companys
line of ROVs, with emphasis on your newest vehicles.
Tell us how and
why they were developed, what makes them unique, and how they are used in
the field. Text can be e-mailed to
editor@doylepublishing.com
in Word format. Photos are welcome, and each image must be accompanied by
a detailed caption. Digital photos should be e-mailed separately in TIFF
format, 300 DPI. Deadline is May 18, but the earlier you get your materials
in, the better your placement and presentation. |

Mini Underwater Camera System From JW FISHERS |
JW FIshers
MC-1 Mini Camera is a compact underwater camera system designed for a variety
of applications.
The MC-1 can easily
be mounted on a divers helmet to allow topside viewing of underwater operations.
Compact size and light weight make the mini camera ideal for internal inspection
of small pipes. Attach the camera to a long pole or lower it on its own cable
and perform shallow water inspections without the need to deploy a diver.
The MC-1 Mini Camera
system comes with a black & white camera in a 500 foot depth rated housing
and a 150 foot cable. Cable lengths up to 1,000 feet are available and a
built-in GFI breaker ensures diver safety in the water. Sharp, clear video
images are sent to the surface for viewing and recording. Several different
camera options can be purchased, including color and European PAL format
cameras. Two different light packages are available for the mini camera,
a high intensity internal ring light or a powerful external quartz halogen
light. The camera housing is ruggedly constructed of high impact, corrosion
proof PVC and the cable is made of highly abrasive resistant urethane to
give many years of trouble free performance.
